I am a legally registered officiant of Humanist weddings. I now live between Wigtown and Glasgow. Humanist weddings can take anywhere that is safe (and not just registered places.

My approach to weddings

Whatever works best for you! I always send samples of real weddings where couples have said they would be happy to share their vows and words. We can meet to discuss and decide what you would like. I often draft the ceremony, but sometimes people like to ‘cut and paste’ bits from other ceremonies and do it all by email – and I’ll make sure the legal bit is in. From my perspective, the most important thing is that you have the ceremony that best reflects your love – whatever that means to you. I love to include guests or family in expressing their wishes for you too and if you have children, we can give them a special role

Studio Photography

Rod has twice been the MPA Scottish Portrait Photographer of the Year and his studio in Dumfries is very popular - but much cheaper than you might expect.
